METAFOR: Journal of Literary Studies is an anonymously peer-reviewed, open-access journal that welcomes research on all aspects of literary studies in English and Turkish.
METAFOR, hosted by the Department of Turkish Language and Literature and the Department of Western Languages and Literatures and affiliated with Boğaziçi University, is published biannually, in April and October. METAFOR accepts original research articles, research notes, and book reviews that contribute to ongoing debates in literary studies through diverse theoretical, critical, comparative, and interdisciplinary approaches. The journal does not charge any fees at any stage of the publication process.
METAFOR invites submissions for its seventh issue. Adopting an interdisciplinary and comparative perspective, the journal aims to foster intellectual exchange and promote new debates within literary theory and criticism, cultural studies, and literary studies.
